Shipping and lead times

We ship from EU stock with predictable lead times, and we are explicit about what falls outside the standard service so you can plan around it.

Standard lead times from EU stock

Standard SKUs ship in 48 to 72 hours from the moment your order is confirmed. The stock and dispatch point is our manufacturing partner Buhl-Paperform GmbH in Burbach, Germany, central to the Benelux, German, and Northern French industrial zones. Orders received before 13:00 CET on a working day typically dispatch the same or next working day.

This timing covers order picking, packing, and carrier handover. The transit time on top of that depends on destination and freight option, see the volume bands below.

Volume bands and freight options

One to five pallets, parcel-style or small LTL. We use parcel and small-freight carriers. Door-to-door transit within Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg is typically one to two working days from dispatch. France, Austria, Denmark, Czech Republic two to three working days. Southern Europe and Scandinavia three to five working days.

Six pallets to half-truck, dedicated LTL freight. We quote LTL freight on the order. Transit times are similar to the small-freight band, with the advantage of a single carrier, single handling, and one tracking number for the whole consignment.

Half-truck to full truck. Full FTL or dedicated freight on quote, typically with a delivery slot booked at your goods-in. Transit time depends on lane and slot availability, two to five working days for most EU destinations.

EU coverage

We deliver to all EU member states, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and Norway. For other destinations contact sales with the postal code and we will price the freight separately.

Samples

We offer one free sample per SKU on request, intended for spec verification or internal testing. The customer covers freight on samples, typically a small parcel charge billed at carrier cost. Sample dispatch usually happens within 48 hours of confirmation. If you need a larger sample set or destructive testing, we will quote separately.

Order confirmation flow

Quote within one working day of enquiry. Once you confirm, we issue a pro-forma or invoice depending on payment terms. Stock orders dispatch on confirmation of payment or against open credit for established accounts.

Tracking and proof of delivery

Every shipment includes a tracking number sent to the order contact on dispatch. Proof of delivery is available on request after delivery, typically within one working day from the carrier portal.

Edge cases

Public holidays affect both dispatch and transit. German, Dutch, and destination-country holidays can shift timing by one to two working days. We flag this on order confirmation when relevant.

Carrier strikes, customs delays for non-EU destinations, and severe weather can add days to transit. We pass through carrier service-level commitments but cannot guarantee delivery dates beyond what the carrier itself commits to.

Address corrections after dispatch incur carrier fees that we pass through at cost.
